7 Days To Go…Can I Make It?

All I can say is, wow. Wow, it is a lot of work to post each day. Wow, the results have been amazing so far. And wow, this is pretty fun! To those who haven’t visited before, I made a challenge to myself to post new content each day, everyday for the month of February. So far, for the past 21 days, I have kept that promise. I also made a challenge to myself, half-way through my original challenge, to capture 2,000 unique visitors by the end of February 28th at midnight. This was after achieving over 1,000 unique visits in just two weeks; a big jump from just 765 unique visits for the entire month of January alone! I am almost to my goal, with just over 400 unique visits needed to capture my goal of 2,000. Can I make it?

My Traffic Strategy

My traffic strategy has been pretty basic. I try and post great quality content each day to keep readers coming back. In order to “get the word out” I use a couple pinging services, update on Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, and post articles to EzineArticles.com. I also make sure my blog is SEO friendly so that the search engines can find my site. These are all pretty basic things, but doing them daily adds up.

My Big Secret

You want to know what my biggest secret of all is? Networking. I make sure that I contact people that I can help and that can help me. I also promote my blog offline as well, mentioning it to friends and business associates. My most recent networking accomplishment has been to get my blog featured on Alltop.com’s branding section.
