Grapes For Apes

I absolutely love orangutans and want to help them as much as possible. I have posted before about how I adopted Dodo as a Christmas gift for a family member, and have written about how they are quickly going extinct if us humans do not do something about it. Well, there is a charity doing something about saving them.

The Orangutan Outreach, mentioned as one of my favorite charities, has teamed up with a wine distributor to create “Grapes For Apes.” This is a great way to help out our distant cousins and enjoy great wine with friends and family at the same time. Some Positve News

While it is true that the orangutan is in danger of being extinct, there has been progress made and reforestation efforts to provide sanctuaries for them and a natural habitat for them to live their lives. Reforestation not only helps out the Orangutans, it also helps to offset CO2 and other pollutants. The trees provide oxygen which provide cleaner air. So it is again a win-win situation.
