Planes, Trains, & Automobiles
After two weeks of traveling and workshopping and two more weeks of finalizing documents, I am back online. The trip was great- lots of traveling to get to the locations, lots of hard work, and a positive response in the end which made the two days of traveling back to the islands a lot more relaxing, albeit still somewhat tiring.
I have been doing a lot of reading in my spare time- mostly while waiting for departure at an airport- and my mind is racing with new information and how it applies to the service industry from a business development and branding point of view. The amazing thing is that whatever subject I study, I have noticed strong correlations back to business, to people, and to life. In other words, we really are all connected at all levels. Pretty amazing stuff if you ask me!
Updates From All Over
Although I have not been able to post as frequently or often as I would like, I have been watching my stats around the web and continuing to work offline on projects to then put online at some point in the future. Here are a few achievements I have made recently online.
EzineArticles: I have been published now 39 times in ezines around the world now. One of my articles, Empowering Your Team Members is More Than Just Building Them Up, it is a Realization in Themselves has been published 5 separate times so far. My most popular article to date is Strengths and Weaknesses – The Truth About You has been viewed 924 times since being published back in February 2009. My goal for this article is to get to 1000 by the end of 2009. Can I make it?
Blog: Having only written two blog posts for the month of August, I was surprised that I had my biggest month yet of unique visitors, coming in just over, 10,000 at 10,055. I can see how having a presence online, even if a small one, continues to help with traffic. My main focus is to grow this blog and its traffic organically, through social media and other ways such as article marketing. I also have some ideas about doing some paid advertising experiments that are in the works as well. My goal for the month of September is to at least match last month’s unique visitors, and hopefully beat that number by a couple hundred.
Traveling: I feel fortunate to be able to travel quite frequently on assignments. Because of this, and my natural curiosity, I have gotten bit by the travel bug. I have a goal of traveling at minimum once a month, every month, to somewhere. This will include travel for work and travel for fun. We’ll see how this works out.
Coming Up on BenjaminWarsinske.com: I have a lot of ideas that I want to implement here on my blog and many other web based projects that I want to start. Due to a hectic schedule, I have had to put many of these projects on hold. But rest assured, I am working on them and they will go live at some point in the future. For now, I am working on blog posts for this upcoming week.
