About

Hello! My name is Benjamin. Welcome to my website. This site is my home online, my headquarters for everything Benjamin. Here’s a little background on me and the history of this website.

December 2008: BenjaminWarsinske.com is launched as a platform to present my research and findings on all things business and how the service industry can improve their business operations.

March 2010: The blog has experienced some growth, my name has gotten out there, and I feel as though I am contributing to helping entrepreneurs, though not enough. My work has picked up and has me traveling frequently throughout the Pacific Theatre, leaving little time to update.

February 2011: Even with my jam-packed travel schedule, I have consciously made an effort to continue to research, write, and post as much as I can. At one point, I had nearly a month’s post in the que, scheduled to post while I was out of the country. I love that feeling of accomplishment!

Later in February 2011: Typical boy meets girl story. Boy goes to Australia for two weeks on business. Boy contacts girl from Australia to set up a date upon return. The rest is history as they say. Needless to say, the blog takes a break.

Fast Forward to 2012: Busy travel schedule continues, taking programs from both Villanova University and University of Notre Dame, along with continued research and focus on creating a company based on all of my research. Busy! While the service industry still interests me immensely, it has evolved into a much bigger project. See my venture BrandedWorld.

April 2013: Restoring the blog to its full potential. Creating a home for myself online- a place to share memories, stories, thoughts, and research.  Connect with me on Twitter @BenWarsinske or @brnddwrld.

On Being A Road Warrior

How many days per year are you on the road?

This year it is looking like I will be on the road about 170+ days.

Talk about being on the road. What do you enjoy about it?

Being on the road allows you to experience things you never would have imagined, meet people who can influence and change your life, and see the world in a completely different way. I have found it to be a positive experience in my life, and I plan to increase my travel even further.

Favorite Place to Travel

In your travels, describe one of your favorite places to visit. What is it about the place that stands out from the rest?

I have many favorite places, but one that is often overlooked is Seoul, South Korea. Downtown Seoul offers an amazing assortment of dining and shopping, from high end retail to an open marketplace. The city is vibrant and on the edge of innovation. I always enjoy my time in Seoul.

Favorite Hidden Restaurant

Can you name a restaurant that is a hidden gem? Where do you enjoy dining while traveling?

Being on the road often means trying out many different restaurants in many exotic locations. A hidden gem that has become a favorite is called Proa. Located in Guam, a territory of the United States, it offers a fusion of food, presented in an artistic way. The food is one of the best, if not the best on the island. I find myself making sure I can fit a meal in at Proa whenever I am traveling to Guam, or even when on a layover.

Favorite Charity to Donate To

What charities do you contribute to and are actively involved in? What is it about charity work that you enjoy?

A big part of who I am as a person is giving back and helping those less fortunate. My favorite charity, and one that I often help to promote, is Orangutan Outreach.

Favorite Quotes

Can you share some of your favorite quotes? What inspires you and keeps you motivated to continue your mission?

I have found many quotes to be inspiring, to allow myself to think differently, and to study different perspectives in coming to my own conclusions. Below are a few favorites of mine, that I refer back to frequently in my research and writings.
