About
Who is Benjamin Warsinske?
An artist, a thinker, a visionary with an entrepreneurial spirit. I love to read and learn about all kinds of things. I am especially focused on economics, finance, and business development. People and psychology also interest me very much.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failng to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds.
- R.D. Laing
Out of clutter, find simplicity. From discord, find harmony. In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.
- Albert Einstein
My True Passion
My true passion lies in helping people and protecting the natural environment and animals that are in danger of being extinct. You can see my many posts on orangutans and how you can help.
Why Blog?
This blog’s main focus is business development for the service industry. I have continuously studied business development and branding, finance, and international business. Over the course of studying within my major, I found some pretty big gaps between what I was being taught and what the industry required a professional know. On top of that, I found that within the industry I am in, as well as many other similar and service-based businesses, they all have common business models. This blog is a way to explore how to improve on those models of business to create a stronger brand, a stronger mission, and a better positioned company that can stand apart from its owners.
As I continue to read, research, talk to as many different people as I can and to expand my knowledge and networking base, I am seeing more and more patterns. From these patterns I am able to draw on conclusions. These conclusions are the basis of many of the blog posts on this site.
Update: February 2010
Due to a very busy travel and work schedule, my blog has not been updated as much or as recently as I would like. I have been hard at work researching and will be posting new content soon, albeit less frequently than before until I can work it back into my schedule full time. Please feel free to read the archives, comment on posts, share with friends, etc.
Let’s Stay Connected
I am always looking to network with new people. Maybe you came across my blog on my LinkedIn profile. Great! Connect with me. Maybe there is a project we can work on together. You can also follow me on Twitter.
